Hashimukh often engages in occasional projects that aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. These projects can vary widely, from distributing winter clothes to help vulnerable individuals stay warm during the cold months to providing food and new clothing to families in celebration of Eid. These initiatives reflect the organization’s commitment to fostering community well-being, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring that marginalized individuals and families can participate in the joy and warmth of such occasions.
Since 2014, Hashimukh has been conducting a periodical project called “আমরাও ঈদ করবো অন্য সবার মতো” (We will celebrate Eid like others) and providing food assistance to underprivileged families in the month of Ramadan ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Hashimukh has been providing iftar, an Eid food package, and a new set of dresses to their students since 2014, after the birth of Hashimukh. From that year, under the project “আমরাও ঈদ করবো অন্য সবার মত”(We will celebrate Eid like others), they have been always distributed iftar for the 25 days of Ramadan, a new set of Eid dresses, and, Eid dry food package for the Eid day among their students to respect our religious values, celebrate the essence of togetherness, and shared goals. Hashimukh does this so that their underprivileged students don’t feel discriminated against and can celebrate Eid with their families like privileged people. They run this project not only based on our religious values but also on cultural aspects. These initiatives make them more convinced to come back to school and be active in their studies. This creates a kind of gratitude among the parents of our students, which inspires them to send their children to school regularly. This occasional project “আমরাও ঈদ করবো অন্য সবার মত” impacts a lot to achieving our overall strategic goal.
Hashimukh distributed iftar food packages containing puffed rice, chira, chola, sugar and oil to the students. In 2025 to ensure the health and well-being of its students, Hashimukh opted to distribute dry food items for Iftar rather than provide outside food. This noble effort as part of its Ad-hoc based project, by distributing Iftar food packages to 250 students and their families, impacting over 1,250 individuals. Each package, valued at BDT 667, was carefully curated to include essential food items such as puffed rice, chira, chola, sugar, oil—ensuring families have the necessary ingredients to prepare their Iftar meals. This initiative not only provides nourishment but also brings a sense of comfort and dignity to those who often face food insecurity.
Since 2014, Hashimukh has been dedicated to spreading joy and warmth during Eid by providing Eid new dresses to its students. This initiative has been a cherished tradition, reflecting the organization’s deep commitment to supporting its students and their families year after year. It has not only been a way to celebrate the festive season but also to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of the students.
In keeping with this heartfelt tradition, Hashimukh joyfully distributed Eid new dresses to its students, on March 22, 2025. 250 students, each with an attendance rate of over 80%, were given a new dress for their impressive attendance rate. These students also received Eid dry food packages as a token of appreciation, making their Eid celebrations even more special.
Distribution of Eid Dry Food Packages: Like every year, this Eid, too, we strived to bring joy to underprivileged children by sharing the spirit of celebration. With the generosity of our esteemed advisor, 250 children were gifted special Eid packages, each containing polao rice, Ispahani instant drink powder, biscuits, and tea leaves bringing warmth and joy to their hearts during this festive time. Our deepest thanks to our advisor, cherished member of the Hashimukh family since 2017, whose guidance as an advisor has been invaluable.We also want to express our sincere appreciation to Wellfood for their generous contribution of nutritious Wellfood noodles, which were distributed among the children, further enhancing their Eid celebrations.
To enhance the festive spirit of Eid for our students, Pran-RFL Group generously participated in their ‘Eid For All’ initiative by gifting special Eid gift boxes. These delightful packages included festive items such as chips, chocolates, juice, wafers, semai, milk powder, firni mix, biryani spices, and polao rice, bringing smiles and joy to all who received them. The boxes were distributed to 250 students and their families, benefiting over 1,200 individuals from marginalized slum communities.
At Hafsa Madrasa, where 55 female students pursue their education, the spirit of Eid was embraced with joy and generosity. As part of the celebration, iftar packets containing biryani and drinks were distributed, ensuring the students could break their fast with a nourishing meal. Additionally, Eid food packages were provided, bringing extra happiness to their festivities. Each package included semai, noodles, polao rice, onions, potatoes, and sugar, ensuring the students and their families could enjoy traditional Eid delicacies. This initiative not only spread the warmth of Eid but also provided much-needed relief, making the celebration even more meaningful. With heartfelt gratitude, we extend our sincere thanks to our partners for making this moment possible.
At Chapa Mosque’s male madrasa, where 30 students receive their education, the spirit of Eid was celebrated with warmth and generosity. Through the Eid for All initiative, iftar packets containing biryani and drinks were distributed, ensuring the students could break their fast with a fulfilling meal. Additionally, Eid food packages, supported by Pran-RFL Group, brought extra joy, filled with essentials like chips, chocolates, juice, wafers, semai, milk powder, firni mix, biryani spices, and polao rice. This initiative not only spread Eid happiness but also strengthened the sense of community and care. With hearts full of gratitude, the students celebrated Eid with smiles, making it a truly memorable occasion.
This winter, Hashimukh Somaj Kallan Songstha once again brought warmth and joy to the lives of 200+ deserving students through our “Winter Clothing Distribution 2023” project under our Occasional Program. Led by our dedicated co-founder and president, Nusrat Akhtar, and supported by our passionate volunteers, we have been carrying out this commendable initiative for the past 10 years. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the well-wishers who have supported and continue to support us in making this impactful endeavor possible.
