Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha is a non-profit organization that works for the welfare and development of society’s underprivileged people. We primarily focus on Transformative Education, Health and hygiene, Healthy meals, IT Training, Art-crafting, and Emergency response relief. At 101 Central Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha operates a free school from Playgroup to grade 12 for disadvantaged students where 372 children and adolescents have been receiving basic education with other facilities like everyday healthy meals, healthcare, IT training and Crafting. Hashimukh has started its second branch at (317, Bir Uttam Road, Aman Tower, Nasirullah Bari, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh) where 60 more underprivileged students are getting the same facilities, now total number of students is 400+. To date, 400 students completed secondary education while 1600 finished primary education with the assistance of Hashimukh.
At Hashimukh School, we provide comprehensive care to each student so that they may develop into complete human beings. In addition to receiving the essential education to appear for board exams and pursue more qualifications, they also learn compassion, generosity, and moral integrity. In a nutshell, we are decisive in bringing about holistic improvements in the lives of our students so that they are eligible for both local and global job markets. The number of new enrollments consistently kept rising over the years until 2021 when the number plunged due to the pandemic. The number then escalated in 2022 when the government permitted it to resume offline classes. In early 2023, Hashimukh School enrolled 60 new students, bringing the total student count to 346. As the school's capacity reaches its limit of 370 students. We reached 371 students total in our main branch. As we reached out of capacity, we have opened our second branch where 60 new students have enrolled. As of now, Hashimukh’s total students reach 400+.
