During the biting cold of winter, while many of us seek warmth and comfort, hundreds of families in the fire-affected zone of Korail slum are enduring nights under the open sky. The recent devastating fire not only destroyed their homes but also took away their last possessions. Yet, even in the face of such immense loss, their resilience and dream to rebuild remain unshaken.

At Hashimukh, we believe that being present in moments of crisis is more than charity—it is our moral responsibility. Guided by this belief and driven by empathy, Hashimukh, in collaboration with IPDC Finance, stood beside the affected families at a time when they needed support the most. Our joint initiative aimed to deliver winter blankets to 315 families, offering them essential warmth and a sense of security during this difficult period.
Amid ruins and shattered belongings, life still moves forward. Our intention was simple: to bring a moment of comfort and hope into their ongoing struggle. For this initiative, we prioritized mothers and children, recognizing that they suffer the most during harsh weather conditions. The heartfelt smiles, relief, and gratitude reflected in their eyes upon receiving new blankets deeply moved us. Those moments reaffirm why we do what we do—and remind us that compassion has the power to heal.
At Hashimukh, we have always believed that true happiness lies in serving humanity. As the affected families gather strength to rebuild their lives, standing beside them is not only an act of kindness but also a commitment to the values we uphold. We extend our sincere appreciation to IPDC Finance for joining us in this meaningful journey and for their unwavering support in reaching those who need it most.
This winter, let us all take a moment to look around and extend our hands to the vulnerable communities near us. Together, we can bring warmth, dignity, and hope to those who continue to fight for a better tomorrow.
