Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha (HSKS) had the privilege of meeting The Honourable Bobby Hajjaj, MP, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration in advancing inclusive education, youth empowerment, and sustainable community development. The meeting provided an opportunity to introduce HSKS’s community-driven work in education, climate resilience, skills development, women’s economic empowerment, and holistic child development. Discussions focused on the importance of creating sustainable partnerships that improve access to quality education and expand opportunities for children and young people from underserved communities.
One of the highlights of the meeting was presenting the Minister with handcrafted eco-friendly products created by students and women participating in Hashimukh’s Arts & Crafts and Skills Development programmes. The Minister expressed his appreciation for the quality, creativity, and social impact of these products, recognizing them as powerful examples of how practical skills, creativity, and entrepreneurship can contribute to education, environmental sustainability, and livelihood development.
The discussion also reflected a shared commitment to strengthening education through innovation, skills development, and collaborative action. As the government continues to emphasize practical, technology-oriented, and skills-based education for Bangladesh’s future generations, initiatives like those implemented by HSKS demonstrate how community-led organizations can complement national development priorities.
