খুলনার প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চল দাকোপের নারীদের স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষা ও আর্থিক স্বাবলম্বীতার এক পরিবর্তন এনেছে হাসিমুখ। এই অঞ্চলটি সুযোগ-সুবিধার অভাবে চরম স্বাস্থ্যঝুঁকির মুখে থাকলেও, IPDC Finance এর সহায়তায় হাসিমুখের একটি উদ্যোগ এখানকার নারীদের জীবন বদলে দিয়েছে। হাসিমুখ এই অঞ্চলের নারীদের পুনঃব্যবহারযোগ্য স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন তৈরির প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করেছে এবং তাদের মধ্য থেকেই একটি সেলস টীম গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। ফলে, তারা নিজেরাই ন্যাপকিন তৈরি করছে এবং সমাজের অন্যান্য নারীদের কাছে নামমাত্র মূল্যে বিক্রি করছে যা একদিকে স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা বাড়াচ্ছে, অন্যদিকে আয় উপার্জনের মাধ্যমে তাদেরকে আত্মনির্ভরশীল করছে।
আজ তারা জীবনের প্রথম রোজগার হাতে পেয়েছে, আর সেই আনন্দমাখা মুখের হাসি সত্যিই অমূল্য। এই প্রথম আয়ের মাধ্যমে তাদের মুখে যে আত্মবিশ্বাস ও আনন্দের ঝিলিক দেখা গেছে, তা প্রকৃতির সাথে নিরন্তর সংগ্রামে লিপ্ত এই জনপদের মানুষের জন্য এক অসাধারণ অর্জন।
হাসিমুখ, একটি নারী নেতৃত্বাধীন সংগঠন হিসেবে, বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি অবহেলিত নারীকে স্বাবলম্বী করে তোলার লক্ষ্য নিয়ে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। হাসিমুখের লক্ষ্য বাংলাদেশের অবহেলিত নারীদের শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য ও কর্মসংস্থানের মাধ্যমে স্বাবলম্বী করে গড়ে তোলা, যাতে তারা নিজের জীবন বদলাতে পারে এবং সমাজের জন্য অনুপ্রেরণা হয়ে ওঠে।
In the remote area of Dacope, Khulna, Hashimukh has brought a remarkable change in women’s health protection and financial independence. Despite being an area extremely vulnerable due to lack of facilities, with the support of IPDC Finance, a unique initiative of Hashimukh has transformed the lives of local women.
Hashimukh has provided training to these women on producing reusable sanitary napkins and formed a sales team from among them. As a result, they are now making napkins themselves and selling them at a nominal price to other women in the community—raising health awareness on one hand, while on the other hand enabling them to earn an income and become self-reliant.
Today, they have received their first-ever earnings, and the joy reflected in their smiling faces is truly priceless. The sparkle of confidence and happiness shining through their expressions marks an extraordinary achievement for the people of this climate-stricken region, who are constantly struggling with nature.
As a women-led organization, Hashimukh is committed to empowering every underprivileged woman in Bangladesh. Its mission is to make disadvantaged women self-reliant through education, healthcare, and employment, so they can transform their own lives and become an inspiration for society.
