Since 2014, Hashimukh has been organizing Iftar programs for its students, providing them with free iftar meals every day up to the 25th of Ramadan. This year Hashimukh extended support to its 250 underprivileged students by providing them with iftar food packages in two phases. Each phase consisted of a 15-day supply of essential items, including chickpeas, besan, sugar, oil, and muri. On the final day of Iftar, the students receive new sets of clothes to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. Additionally, Hashimukh extends its support to families by distributing dry food items in preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr.
As part of our project (আমরাও ঈদ করবো অন্য সবার মতো) in addition to the iftar food packages, the students were also given a set of new clothes, henna, soap, and shampoo to uplift their spirits and enhance their personal hygiene during the festive season since 2014. To further enrich their Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, we collaborated with Well Food and Ispahani, who generously contributed an Eid dry food package containing semai, noodles, polao rice, cookies, Ispi drink, powdered milk, and sugar. The patrons of Hashimukh came forward to contribute on Eid new dresses & Iftar for the children of Hashimukh since 2014. Our goal is to ensure that these underprivileged students could experience the joy and festivities of Eid with a sense of fulfillment and happiness.
