The Hashimukh School premises recently turned into a lively haven of creativity as the BRAC University Outreach Team paid a special visit that our students will remember for a long time. What started as a simple outreach activity soon blossomed into an inspiring art and craft workshop—one that brought smiles, excitement, and valuable learning moments to our little learners.

During the session, the BRAC team introduced a unique and engaging craft activity centered around upcycling old newspapers. What many might consider scrap became the foundation for innovative, colorful creations. With gentle guidance and step-by-step demonstrations, the children learned how to transform ordinary newsprint into charming paper dolls, birds, and decorative showpieces.
It was heartwarming to watch how every fold of paper unlocked a burst of imagination. Some students crafted dolls dressed in vibrant handmade attire, while others shaped elegant birds with wings spread wide—each creation reflecting the child’s unique artistic spark. The once dull, monochrome newspaper pages seemed to come alive as young hands turned them into expressive works of art.
What truly stood out throughout the workshop was the pure joy and pride on the faces of the Hashimukh students. Their sense of accomplishment was undeniable. Many of them discovered new skills, while others gained the confidence to express themselves more boldly through art.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the BRAC University Outreach Team for their heartfelt effort, time, and dedication. Their meaningful engagement not only gave our children a memorable day but also taught them a powerful lesson:
beauty can be created from the simplest materials, and creativity has no bounds.
At Hashimukh, we look forward to more enriching collaborations that help our children grow, explore, and dream bigger.
